Privacy statement

FXC Events sets no cookies, doesn't track you and needs no account. Below you can read exactly what does happen.

Who we are

FXC Events is an app by the Future Xperience Centre (Utrechtseweg 263, 6862 AK Oosterbeek, the Netherlands), part of Firm of the Future. We are responsible for this site.

No cookies, no tracking

We use no cookies, no analytics and no ads. There's no login and you never have to enter your name or email address.

What stays on your own device

Your progress in the games, your answers and test results, settings such as language and music, and the organisation name you enter in the Maturity Quick Scan are only kept in your own browser storage. They are never sent to us. The Quick Scan PDF is also created on your device.

So the app works offline, your browser also keeps a copy of the pages, images, music and map tiles. You can erase all of this by clearing the site data for fotfevents.nl in your browser, or by removing the app from your home screen.

Location, camera and compass

Some games ask for your location (to open flags and spots when you are nearby), your camera (for the search view) or your compass. This only happens with your permission, and everything is processed on your device. Your location and camera image are not stored or sent anywhere. Without permission you can still open everything by hand.

Services by others

Hosting: the site runs on Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel sees technical data such as your IP address and browser, to serve and protect the site. Vercel keeps these logs briefly and is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Maps: map tiles come from OpenStreetMap. When you open a map, the OpenStreetMap Foundation sees your IP address, as with any other site that shows an OpenStreetMap map.

Fonts and music are served from our own server; nothing is fetched from Google or other parties for them. Links to other sites, such as the web shop or klimaathart.nl, fall under those sites’ own privacy statements.

Your rights and questions

Because we don't store any personal data about you ourselves, there is nothing for us to show or erase. If you still have a question or complaint about privacy, email info@futurexperience.nl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
